On Thursday, September 14, 2017, Lakeshore students participated in the Terry Fox Run. We went to the park and raised money for cancer research. Each student tried their best to run as many laps they were told to run.  As the students were running, teachers and students took pictures of the participants.  Everyone was told the story of Terry Fox, and how he tried to raise money for cancer.  After the kids ran the laps they either decided to continue to run more or played on the climber. We all had a great time!!

This week during class time, we completed our first spelling test, got ready for our first math quiz, prepped for a french quiz, began diving into our personal memoirs, and improved our soccer game tremendously. Gala also shared an excellent newspaper article on an albino lobster!!
