On Monday, April 29th, the Grade 3’s participated in a Quilting Bee. We have been learning all about daily life during the 1800’s and learned that people often had “bees” where they worked together to complete a project.

With the help of Judy and Debbie, each student designed their own quilt square. We worked really hard to sew the pieces together using neat and even stitches. It was hard work, but the results are amazing!

We can’t wait to see what our quilt looks like when it is all put together. Great job, Grade 3’s!
