We had another awesome week! We met with the Kindergarten class and did reading buddies for the first time. We had a lot of fun reading stories to them!

We also went to Little Cat Creek for the first time this week. We learned about insects and some of us got to hold a monarch butterfly!  We paired up with the Grade 2’s and went out into a field to catch different insects. We caught some dragonflies, a woolly bear caterpillar, crickets, grasshoppers, and a stink bug! We also learned how to tell if a cricket is a girl or a boy, and we saw a praying mantis and a stick bug.

We are looking forward to our next visit to Little Cat Creek!
