Uniform Policy
We believe that a school uniform promotes identification with
Lakeshore School. Since our uniform is working clothing, we believe
that it should be practical and easy to acquire and care for.
Students are required to wear the following uniform on a daily basis:
● Solid black shirt (long or short sleeve) with the Lakeshore
School crest on the left side
● Black sweater, sweatshirt, or pullover with the Lakeshore
School crest may be worn over a uniform shirt during winter
months
● Khaki pants, shorts, skirts or skorts
● Tights and leggings worn under skirts/skorts should be black
● Grades 1- 8 must wear black (mostly black) running shoes that
they can put on independently, with non-marking soles
● Kindergarten students must wear indoor running shoes that
they can put on independently, with non-marking soles
Grade 5 – 8 Physical Education Uniform:
● Black shorts or athletic pants
● Blue Lakeshore Physical Education t-shirt
● Optional – Lakeshore athletic pants and jacket
● Athletic footwear (indoor shoes)
The Physical Education uniform must be at school on Physical
Education days. Students will change into their Physical Education
uniform prior to Phys. Ed. class.
Students who are deemed to be out of uniform will be asked to correct
the issue.
All uniform items must be labelled with your child’s name. Lakeshore
Parent Council has set up a fundraising account with Mabel’s Labels.
