The grade 7/8s had a pretty interesting week.

Something exciting on Monday was Math class. During Math class, the grade seven and eights made a lesson plan that they will later teach younger students. After school, some students also decided to go to basketball practice to make the basketball team.
On Tuesday during music class Mr. Shaun our music teacher introduced a new song to us. He gave us the music sheets to a song called Zombie by The Cranberries. Later in the afternoon during gym, for we played basketball.
On Wednesday all the students at Lakeshore went skating at the Invista Centre. All the grade seven and eights had a partner from a younger class. When they got there all the grade seven and eights had to help their partner get on the ice before them. Everyone who had a partner did a good job. Later in the evening, there was basketball again.
On Friday the grade 7/8s had a very fun last class. Our last class was carpentry with Richard, a good friend of Mr. Scheleger’s and many of the 7/8s. We designed a birdhouse for Purple Martins, a type of small-sized bird.

Overall a pretty fun and interesting week.
